The Crucible: Act 2 Remake

This was a project made partially for an English class.  This features me and three of my accomplices filming a reenacting a scene from "The Crucible", where I directed this scene and remade the script.  In order to remake the scene, I was tasked with modernizing it.  To do this, I looked at the original script of "The Crucible", and applied the scenario and diction to a modern setting.  I decided to pick a scene from Act 2 of "The Crucible" where Reverend Hale confronts the John and Elizabeth Proctor to test their faith before deciding if they may be guilty of witchcraft.  In my remake of the scene, John Proctor has been allowed by Elizabeth to copy the answers off her vocabulary test.  This takes place in a school environment, where the two are students and Reverend Hale is a teacher.  The script was changed so that Hale catches onto the two cheating and Elizabeth snitches on John after the pressure is too much to handle.  Also included in this scene, are words from "The Crucible" which were used as vocabulary in English class and eventually written into our revised script.  When I came to editing this scene, I used Adobe Premiere Pro, which taught me how to use different visual effects, most of which I unfortunately could not include in the video, since they were too jarring; I learned from this that sometimes less is more.
